where to buy MDF Boards

Ask lang po sana ko kung may nakakaalam kung saan nakakabili ng MDF boards tsaka ung prices na din po nya. Wala po kasi kong time na maghanap at magcanvass eh :(. Im planning to build a box for a subwoofer.

there are three top major suppliers of MDF, FORMAPLY, NALCO, and TOP ASIA. FORMAPLY is located at Mindanao ave., NALCO is at the back of TOYOTA CALOOCAN, TOP ASIA is at Valenzuela, all of them you can buy per piece. i think meyroon na sa ACE at Wilcon

For those near the Home Depot at Ortigas, they sell MDF for around P1,300 per sheet. The thickness of 18 mm is just right I think for speaker boxes. I myself will buy several sheets to build a horn speaker.

I trust, you know the biggest mistake in some local Pinoy speaker enclosures, !! USING NAILS !!! :(

Use the right wood joint, wood glue (carpenter's) and the right size and length of wood screws , drill a proper pilot hole, and do not overtighten !!
