I recently replaced my car battery, 1SM Motolite. That was 2-mo. ago more or less, but the past week I have been experiencing difficulty in opening the door through my keyless entry switch, though the light on the switch turns on when pressed. Opening the car with the doorkey will only activate the alarm. It will take about ten to fifteen presses before you can hear the sound that announces that the door is already open. And once you turn on the ignition, you will hear nothing but a "click". It will take another four to five clicks before it turns on the engine. This happens only in the morning. I am dumbfounded. ??? Any suggestion from anyone? suggestions will be appreciated, tnx.

Go back to the battery dealer and ask him to check the battery while it is still under warranty.

Is your battery maintenance free? Check the date of manufacture on the battery. It should be stamped somewhere on the battery. Usually on the side.
If you purchased the battery withing six months of its manufacture date then it should be good. If the battery has been on the shelf unused for over 6 months then the battery dealer just sold you a stale MF battery. The problem is that MF batteries already come pre-charged filled with electrolyte. These batteries get stale if unused for months. If left unused for over 6 months the plates on some of all of the cells lose efficiency and fail to either charge or hold a charge for too long.

It seems like your car alarm is messed up. The starter kill feature could be malfunctioning. Have you replaced the remote's battery? Try to disconnect the alarm module to isolate the hard starting problem.
