design tips in installing bathroom/kitchen tiles

hello...i need some some design tips in installing bathroom/kitchen tiles... small lang ang area ko so ano ba dapat gamitin in terms of sizes, colors, designs?....

Also a newbie here.
I also had installed ceramic tiles in our living room about 25 sqm in area. I used a 12x12 (inches) ceramic tiles. The color is beige or somewhat very light pink so that the room is not too dark and make the room look wider. I suggest you use lighter colors and are refreshing to the eyes. This could make your small space look big.

As for the bathroom tiles, as of this writing installing is currently ongoing. I used 8X8 (floor or wall), 8X12 (wall). Also in light colors...mine is close to mint green or somewhat light green.
