my new bonsai....stinks

Got a new plant to start a small bonsai, the lady called it Serissa, When I took it home and transferred it to a new pot, it started to smell.

Read the little tag attached : Serissa Foetida, ah, no wonder it smells bad :)

Anybody with experience with this bonsai?
