I plan to use them between the screws of my motherboard and the hinges of the case to prevent grounding. Medyo untidy kasi yun electrical tape ;D

I think I saw a pack being sold at ACE Hardware Once at SM Megamall. If you're based here in Metro Manila, you can check out Wilcon Builders along EDSA or MC Home Depot.

And since we are a DIY community, I believe you can DIY your rubber washers with enough ingenuity and the right materials. :)

DIY alternatives to the rubber washers: faucet washers. A pack will give you an assortment of different sizes. Available at most hardware stores.

Tek screw washers. These are washers that come with tek screws, of the proper size and thickness I think.The rubber used is very tough as the tek screws are often used to hold down GI roofing on wood or steel purlins. I used to have lots of these as I rarely use tek screws for roof purposes. Most of the time, I use these to hold wood on wood, as they have tremendous holding power. A tek screw will cost about 1 peso or so each. You can use the washer and throw away the screw.

I just bought a pair of those washers at my suking hardware store a couple of days ago. I used them for the hinge screw of the seat cover of our toilet bowl. Fitted perfectly 8)

Go to Alexan and look for plastic PCB stand-offs. I believe you are referring to a computer motherboard ?

Just tell them what you have to do, and surely they would be able to help you here.

If you wanna make them yourself, you might have to go downtown (Soler?) to source your small 1/8 thick sheet of rubber and look for two hole punches, one the screw size (1/8") and the other a 5/16" and make as many as you need. If you want to use available materials, look for an old rubber slipper and 'carve' it to size then punch the holes !!
