Does baygon multi-insect killer or any other commercially available insecticide work on termites inside the house?

I did use Baygon insect spray before. I thought i was able to eliminate these pests. I was wrong. Those who had immediate contact died, but others just avoided the areas i sprayed. After, a couple of days, the crawlers were back in the same area doing their daily gnawing activity.

my mom said just put napthalene balls near the area. i still have to try it though

same problem here. i just finished making the bookcase, only to find out that the 1x2 supports that i have been using have been infested with small insects. i see lots of sawdust under the wood.

It would kill on contact but it will not exterminate the colony. Best to use a termiticide. A caution tho'....these chemicals should be handled and applied with care. Preferably by the Pro's. HTH!
