I received this neat saw horse design this morning and thought to post in our saw horse discussion only to find the posts were buried in a rather unrelated discussion, so I'll just start one for the saw horses. Maybe the moderator can move the other ones.

Ok here it is:

It is from this e-mail magazine I regularly get that you guys might want to subscribe to also: http://www.motherearthnews.com/Hands-On-How-To-Build-Better-Sawhorses.aspx

Hmmm .. this is the first time I am seeing this design. Looks cleverly thought out and functional.

Seems very specific to
1) crosscutting
2) of 2x4
3) at 90 degrees
that I am tempted to figure out how to make it adjustable.
But then once you do that, it would lose its simplicity.

Anyone has a design for a really simple and easy to build saw horse?

Nice sawhorsesJay. Are those made of 3/4 plywood and 2x4 lumber?

I used 2 x 4 for legs and 2 x 6 for the top and legs support. Fastened w/ glue and long hex head screws.

Very sturdy to use.
