Aluminum is difficult to weld and requires special welding equipment and skill. I had an aluminum evaporator from an imported car welded one time somewhere in Pasay/evangelista but I can't recall the name of the shop. Some aircon and refrigeration shops have them. Just ask around

Boyd,
do you mean they have the product specified available? The videos are pretty straight forward, no need for special equipment just a torch or something that can produce 750 C to heat and melt the item. no inert gas, no tig/mig welding equiptment and from the video seems like a walk in the park.
Just DURAFIX aluminum brazing rod??? let me know where to ask around... or you are just talking of experience and have not seen what we are talking about?

I once had an Aluminum Hand Drill Press Jig welded. Used Oxy Acetelyne and corresponding rod bought in the common welding supply store. Paid around 150 pesos for a broken bracket weld roughly the size of a one peso coin. The resulting joint was strong but noticed that a lot of impurities had to be removed from the molten pool during the welding process.
