Anyone know where I can have some appliances (cordless drill, vacuum cleaner) re-fitted with some NiMh rechargeable batteries ??

This is a place that has stock of NiMh rechargeables (sub-C size) with metal tabs and then they connect them using this little machine that spot welds those metal tabs together in whatever configuration/voltage you need.

I tried one in Virra Mall, the top floor I believe, and they would not do it for me because the appliance did not come from them !!! Go figure. :(
Apparently, it is an in-house policy, so I could not convince them at all. So all their outlets have the same policy.

Anybody ???

Cheers :)

Bro, look for the article on the site about rechargeable batteries. If I remember correctly it mentions a store that can do it for you ... Battery <something>.

Can't seem to find it LNCC.

Where do you look for articles, can only search through posts/threads.

Hey you are right! I guess the articles were lost when the system crashed a few months ago. Try sending an e-mail or PM to the administrator.
