thanks, it seems though that true value shops only carry the jb-weld's "jb-kwik," which cures in about 4 minutes. its the one packaged in blue and orange cartons.
what i am looking for is the "jb-weld" that cures for longer periods of time - this is the one packaged in red and black cartons.

JB Weld is a US-based epoxy company, right?
Is there any significant difference between local brands like Pioneer and Cord? I've seen their 5-minute curing epoxies in DIY shops eh.

In my own experience ..... its like night and day. JB Weld rules.

is this yours bro? where did you buy? i'm gonna hoard this :)
Purchased this two years ago from amazon.com. If only I knew first hand how good these were I would have bought a couple more spares during that time.
I wonder if these are available locally too.

so far, the thing that is avalable here is the jb kwik. its also made by jb weld but its the quick drying variant. specs wise, its a bit lower than the longer curing jb weld.
on what application did you use it?
i contacted true value head office regarding this product. according to them, they cannot import this since i was the only one demanding it. kung marami daw ang demand saka daw sila magiimport ng bulk.

Lots of applications. Power Tool repairs, Karcher pressure washer cylinder head ( got the leak sealed but in the end the head blew up after a few more months of use), metal to metal, metal to plastic and vice versa, plastic to plastic, once a car fender hole patch up and other countless chores that normally I would have used the locally made epoxies.
If they can import JB-Kwik why not this? How would they know of the demand if they don't test and introduce this to the market. Probably they are protecting the other brands they currently sell.
