with the cpu stand out of the shop and into the new owners home, I continue on the stools :)
the nice thing about these is when you make something, make them in pairs... they tend to multiply on their own :

That looks great in different bright colors too. Or maybe i am just thinking too much about our nursery room hehe.

those stools would practically be an heirloom.

Howmuch weight do you think it can take?

Notice the thickness uniformity of the wood. Did these pass the Makita Thickness Planer?

Beautiful as usual.

I've been meaning to ask this: did you cut all those dovetails by hand?

OT: the thread title really made me LOL! :P

BTT: nice work... about the dovetail, when doing it by hand, do you have a jig? what sort of template did you use? it seems, though you made it by hand, the cuts were like done my a machine...

Hi Timber,

Any chance of getting a few pieces of wood cut in your leigh jig? those dovetail joints look sooooo clean. I'm looking to build a small shelf to lift my tv so i can put my cable box and dvd player underneath.

no problem Mon, just send it over, just make sure you have extra for test pieces, they have to be the tested on kasi before the actual cut is made.
