why do most shops if not all have dogs?

i just noticed that most shops if not all have dogs.... sash factory, automotive, etc...

weird, but i even i found myself working with dogs in my garage... 2 shih tzus :P

i reckon, if ace hardware, handyman, wilcon, etc allow dogs, they'll have it too... :P

My reason is I'm too lazy to put away my tools and lock up the shop ... used to ... but really can't anymore ... so our Rottweiler and Doberman man the shop.

i bet my askals hate my saw dusts. And maybe our cats have used it for their kitty litter :)

Supposedly, they are to keep things from sliding. Even the el cheapo Black & Decker Workmate 225 (P2K gone away sale) comes with plastic ones.
