now that you have a ss, you should shape everything with softer edges... nice idea, maybe you can also make the figures using the ss, that will give you practice time...

oo nga eh. But i didnt want to rush through the scroll saw before reading up on it first.
I also need to mount it too. I may add some more rubber on the mounting holes to dampen the vibration.
I bought the scroll saw really for a sideline hehe. Hopefully i get a few mullah back. Yung tipong abstract art na di mo maintindihan going for 5K each HAHAHAHA
I'll start with name plates and will market it sa office muna

Great work there Timber. No wonder you recommend a saw that can take a pinless blade and footswitch.

thanks lncc, it was actually the scrollsaw that got me into woodworking. now that I remember it. I bought that Jan. of 2008 and was intended for modding my cpu. while searching for the tool use online I ended in the scrollsaw site that led me to woodworking. so that means I started ww by April 2008... :)

that is correct, but looking at your work Ben, you are already where I'm at at a shorter time frame. it really isn't very difficult to do ww. you just have to muster the energy to try doing it, then it is practice, practice and practice until you achieve what you want... Moji is actually doing things in less than a year too, lakas lang talaga ng loob to try your hand at something that seems complicated...
Bee is well equipped too. Makes things easier and faster.
