cut it at the leaking part then join them together via a threaded 2"-3" X 3/8" dia. gi nipple, (mas ok kung pa-screw ang pagsuot -he!-he! ;D) then secure each splice by hose clamps or just securing them by gi wire (yun bang gamit sa rebars) wrapped 2x around tightly, preferrably at the threaded part. I use pliers to hold two wire ends and my other hand to hold the splice while applying pulling force as I twist the wires until it is secured tight. You can also turn on the water fully as you do this so you can be sure there are no leaks.
Note: kung mejo mahirap isuot o maliit dia. hose, itapat mo lang sa apoy sandali para lumambot, also some hose become stiff due to age at mahirap talian, nag-leleak. Ganun din gawin mo para lumambot basta wag mo lang pag-aapuyin sakit mapatakan ng nagliliyab na plastic.
Also I find pvc pipe is not suitable for this job, natatanggal lang lalo kung malakas pressure (we have around 70 psi from NAWASA)
I think may nabibiling pang-repair para dito sa mga mall hardwares, but this a lot cheaper.
