Hi i'm looking for the best brand of dead bolts for my residence's main doors

I'm torn between schlage and faultless
Schlage because of it's solid ring
Faultless because it has a key deactivate mechanism

though both brands have a steel reinforcement on it's "tongue"

If you can recommend me other brands the better

thanks

One good way is also to visit mall hardwares that had a display of locks installed to a faux door. In that way you could assess more the performance of each and also its features.

Also, try shaking the tongues as I have observed a lot of locks with a lot "tongue play" (that doesn't sound right, but you get the drift)

also take note of wiggly knobs... some knobs tend to wiggle when hit by something. even though the hit is not harsh, repetitive hits can dislodge the knobs themselves. though this is oftentimes manifested in cheapo one sold almost anywhere, its worth taking into consideration to.

I will vouch for the dependability of schlage against break-in.

There was an attempted break-in on the main door of our empty condominium unit and even though a large hole had already been made on the wooden portion along the edge of the metal cover, the burglar failed to gain entry.

How this burglary attempt happened on a residential condo in Ortigas still remains a mystery but we suspect participation from someone in the building.

Schlage has a good long history, however I do not have any idea about Faultless...
