Hi Guys,
There are some surplus items that I bought for my car. There are only some deep scratches on the items and I'm thinking of a way to remove these. I'm referring to grey plastic panels like pillars, sides of seats, etc.
Any ideas on how to fix these?

Photos please...but if you want to darken the plastic material making it out like new again out of hazy cloudy appearance, use of heatgun would help..

Thanks. I'll try to post a pic of it.
I was thinking if I'll be using a very fine grit sandpaper. I know this will make it whitish but it would make it smooth (I think). When this happens, I don't know how to restore it to its original color. Do you think that the heatgun would be enough to handle this?
