Hi,

Hope to get some help from you guys.

Regards.

Sa pagkaka alam ko ho meron nyan sa Ace Hardware at Handyman, nagtanong narin kc ako ng ganyan last year. I forgot the brand name but its quite expensive kaya hindi ko na binili. If i am not mistaken, baka aabot ang price between 1k - 3k (although last year pa ho ito). Just drop-by nalang ho either sa Ace or Handyman and asks the sales persons there at cgurado ma assists kayo nila ng husto.

Yung nakita ko needs its own power supply or kailangan i-plug sa outlet.

If this is the case, the unit has to turned-on 24/7 para gumana ang relay sensors. some dagdag kuryente.

Hindi rin ako sure sa quality and it's life span.

Pls. share if you find one....

If you have a small tank for the water pump, then it will go on and off pretty quickly. And every time a motor kicks on, it draws a substantial amount of current.

On the other hand, if you proceeded with your plan to put on a relay of sorts, just when your air-con kicks on, and the water pump also decides to start, you may have a scenario wherein they'd be pulling power tug-0-war style, and it may turn into a cycle, it gives you a bigger headache.

Guess you need to decide or study another way out, or get more insight on the matter. Best course is not to have start ups too often, specially for big motors..

Hope this helps.

Sir, since existing na ang switch ng water pump nyo, I suggest hanap ka na lang ng timer based on/off switch for your aircon if your aircon doesn't have a timer.

i think the first question here is that - is it advisable or not? :D

Ang intindi ko sa aircon at other cooling equipment na may Freon, dapat meron rest period between power cycles. Dapat ata 5 minutes.

If the water pump cuts the aircon's power then brings it back immediately, baka makasira sa aircon yun.

My advise is bigyan sila dalawa ng sarili nilang branch mula sa circuit breaker.

Kung tipid sa koryente habol, hindi rin logical kasi the pump will run the same amount of time to fill up the tank. The aircon naman will exert extra effort to bring the temerature down ulit instead of just maintaining it.

Breaker Outlet should be separated per appliances (For safety purpose), ACU ON and OFF pag na reach nya ang temp. setpoint sa loob ng room.

Saving electrical consumption on water is dependent sa usage nyo...

ACU, I can suggest you to buy a timer, use your ACU for specific time then it will switch-on electric fan plug into the timer.Kapag malamig na ang temp ng room then pwede na mag on ng electric fan via timer. Normally early in the morning between 2AM to 6AM is quite possible. You save something...
