with some tummy pain i decided to divert my attention to remove the ms from the temporary table salvaged from grandpa's house..i bolted two pieces of short aluminum square bar for handles with two non locking casters for mobility..this marriage definitely is space consuming...

with the 4100 TS sitting on her new table proper for my working height i remember her (i will refer to my tools with feminine pronoun from now on) gravity rise stand collecting cobwebs elsewhere...so today my plan is to home the ms to this foldable stand.

ms temporary stand..cumbersome and space occupying

with no wideboards available for this purpose i chanced upon a piece of 2 x 2 cut off and decided it will become the cross bars to support the ms...i remember, the 4100 TS came with four 4" bolts but threaded only at the distal third...with no materials available i resorted to just making 2" long 2 x 2 patches to accomodate the bolts...this will also elevate the ms by almost 2inches..

ms now in place..quick job..but i cant tilt and fold the stand as of yet coz i run out of 4" long bolts to fasten the ms to the cross bars..
i temporarily placed lagbolts to hold it.

i am thinking to use this as an assembly stand

sorry guys, no craftsmanship here..but simple measuring, cutting, boring and tightening.

my shop is a mess right now i cant think clearly...i wanted to make a drafting table at the start of the year but you know..work always get in the way.

V are the MS and the TS tops now on the same x-axis height?

the ms top is 5cm lower than the ms...i am not confident with those 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 cross bars..dreaming they might unbolt themselves when i fold the stand.

one day i will shop for wider boards for strength.

I read somewhere that the TS2000 stand is 24.5 in high, putting the table of the 4000 table saw at 38 in high when mounted on TS2000.

Is this also the case with the TS3000 and the 4100 when mounted on its stand?

Is the stand height adjustable?

same is true bro for the T3000 + 4100...height is 38 inches...

i am not a six footer so i made her a mobile stand.

sad to say the bosch gravity rise stand's height is fixed...too bad..

the makita MLT100 on the other hand is better since the height can be adjusted thru a long threaded bolt.
