I just thought I'ld post the spring removal here so it can be archived on the correct thread.

How to remove the plunge spring for router table use:
1. remove the turn knob for depth adjustments, make sure the base is flat on the table.

2. pull router motor leaving the base on the table.

3. remove the springs (both) or as preferred. and put the motor back and install the adjustment knob.

and here is the correct way to mount the template guides for the router.

it will sit flush with the base and hold the template securely.

getting a third party template guide is advisable since Mayon doesn't have any set, and if the did the price of the set is almost the same as the price of a piece that Mayon sells. Get them online abroad...

after searching the dust nozzle for the 3612C router here and in Hong Kong, Singapore and elsewhere. and finally getting an answer that the item is no longer available in the US.
well that doesn't stop me until I find one. and after searching and calling everywhere I found two in the US... I ordered both thinking that someone else would want one too...
